Papier Doré is built on a simple principle: your thoughts belong to you. All data stays on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, and no way to access your notes.
None. Papier Doré does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Everything you write, record, or save exists only on your device.
All features — including voice transcription, AI summarization, mood analysis, and categorization — run entirely on your iPhone. Your notes are never sent to any server, cloud service, or third party for processing.
Papier Doré does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address. There is no user registration of any kind.
We do not use any analytics frameworks, advertising identifiers, or tracking tools. We do not track how you use the app, what you write, or when you open it.
If you enable Face ID or Touch ID, authentication is handled entirely by iOS. Papier Doré never accesses, stores, or processes your biometric data. We simply ask iOS to verify your identity, and iOS returns a yes or no.
When you use voice notes, the microphone and Apple's on-device speech recognition are used to transcribe your words. Audio data is processed locally and is not transmitted to any external service. You can revoke microphone access at any time in Settings.
If you attach photos to your notes, they are stored locally within the app's data on your device. Papier Doré does not upload, share, or transmit your photos anywhere.
Premium features are available through Apple's In-App Purchase system. All payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not receive or store any payment information, credit card numbers, or billing details.
Your notes are stored in a local database on your device. If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your iPhone, your app data may be included in your device backup as part of Apple's standard backup process. This is managed by Apple, not by us.

Papier Doré does not knowingly collect any information from children. Since we collect no data from anyone, no special provisions are necessary.
If we update this policy, changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Our core commitment will not change: your data stays on your device.
